Vancouver Island and Rivers Inlet are famous around the globe for their magnificent beauty, abundance of Humpback Whales, and unrivaled sport fishing on calm, protected waters. All five species of salmon are found here, including world class Chinook and plentiful Coho, as well as Halibut, Lingcod and Yellow Eye, which are abundant in these waters all summer.

For optimum Vancouver Island fishing, Legacy Lodge offers three distinct fishing seasons. Traditional salmon fishing for Chinook and Coho salmon is available from mid-July through September in secluded locations throughout Rivers Inlet. Heli-fishing for huge Northern Coho salmon (20-plus lbs.) within the pristine rivers of the Vancouver Island coastline is available during September and October, and heli-fishing for wild Steelhead is available during April and May.
