Here in Canada, the waters teem with some of the largest Coho and Chinook salmon in the world! In fact, more 50 to 60 pound Chinook salmon are caught in this fjord-line inlet each year than in any other area of British Columbia. Full of energy and fight, these salmon can battle for hours, over incredible distances.
The abundant Coho, often in excess of 20 pounds migrate through amazingly high in the water column are so aggressive, they are often caught a few feet behind the boat.
Imagine a 20-pound Coho striking your cut plug bait trolled 20 feet from your rod tip, then peeling 200 feet of line off your single action reel in seconds. This is Rivers Inlet excitement, and your Legacy Lodge experience at its best!
The fertile waters of Rivers Inlet offer a variety of bottom feeders, as Halibut, Yellow Eye and Lingcod are adundant all season.

- Round-trip airfare from Vancouver BC to Legacy Lodge; a spectacular one-hour flight from Vancouver to Port Hardy, located on the northern tip of Vancouver Island. From Port Hardy you will take a float plan for an approximately 35-minute flight directly to the lodge for your welcoming reception.
- Private accommodations in our new two-story guest building featuring spectacular views and truly deluxe accommodations. Each room is appointed with luxurious linens and private bath. We can accommodate large groups within our suites that comfortably sleep up to six individuals per suite.
- Our Executive Chef prepares exceptional meals with ingredients indigenous to the area. From our nightly happy hour, to fresh fish entrees, to prepared lunches on the water, all meals are included.
- Full use of 17.5-foot Scout sportfishing boats featuring center consoles, 60 HP four-stroke smokeless outboards and the finest fishing electronics, rods and tackle, plus fuel and bait for your entire trip. We also include rain suits, with comfortably fitting rubber boats and flotation gear along with professional instruction on local fishing techniques.
- Professional processing of your catch. We will fillet, vacuum-pack and flash-freeze your daily catch for your trip home. Fish are packed in insulated cardboard boxes acceptable to all major airlines.
